Jazzy Experience

September

Pros: Friendly crew, fabulous food, fun entertainment, top notch room & comfortable bed, enjoyed the ride.

Cons: Long Distances to walk to everything

Recommended: Yes

We were glad we went. It was our first River cruise & a wonderful experience. American went beyond meeting our expectations. Don’t think they can change the only negative which was that it was such a long walking distance to the ship from motel, ship to buses, buses to ship, and final trek off ship was rough & very inclined. Walking is good but at our ages & in our physical condition, it was not fun & very exhausting. Only went on 2 excursions because of it. This should be represented in the brochure.

Outstanding Jazz Cruise

July

Pros: Excellent accommodations on a charming, comfortable, very well staffed and maintained River Boat.

Cons: Daily cruise notes would be helpful if a map told us what locks we were traversing.

Recommended: Yes

We absolutely loved the trip! The Hell’s Canyon Jet Boat ride was a perfect start to our week, the Holiday Inn at Clarkston is a great hotel and their dining room is excellent. The Jazz had everything and more than we were anticipating, spotless and so comfortable staterooms, and dining was always a treat no matter which deck you chose. The “crew” always made us feel welcome and appreciated and certainly well cared for.

A great cruse a great value

September

Pros: Our server Becca Rump made evert meal special. Everyone was so friendly and the ship was small enough we got to know most by name

Cons: The river was low and so there was long walks up the ramps but I know there is nothing you can do about the river

Recommended: Yes

Had a great time every meal was wonderful we liked the option of eating on the back deck.Zac was a great bartender and always happy and laughing I mentioned Becca before but she did make a positive impression we were on for only a week but we’re going to miss her. We liked that we could back our daily tours but you were a winner no matter what you picked

Music cruise with no music

August

Pros: Nashville

Cons: The other port’s

Recommended: No

Not any music playing in common areas. Entertainment on the dance floor- so no dancing. Food less than average.

Good. Will soon be great

July

Pros: Enormous staterooms, convenient layout, good itinerary, excellent entertainment, delicious food

Cons: Some staff issues in dining room due to training new servers.

Recommended: Yes

We were on the inaugural cruise of the Music Cities Cruise. Overall the cruise was delightful. There are some issues that will need to be ironed out for future cruises, but I have no doubt they will be adequately addressed. Top notch entertainment, gourmet dining, spacious staterooms, and excellent staff members convinced us to book another cruise from ACL for next year. The company seems to have a great mission and cares about staff satisfaction which leads to customer satisfaction.
